Earl Zapf: Chef, former Paekakariki resident and food entrepreneur (Paekakariki Cafe & Beach Road Deli). Earl currently cooks and teaches seasonal cuisine entirely from the kitchen garden at The Monastery Retreat in Hamilton.
Kath Irvine: Kath’s main business is teaching permaculture from her Edible Backyard property in Manakau. She also works as an edible garden design consultant and writer, and has a regular feature spot with Kim Hill on National Radio.
